Disa, how to setup on S100 BRI

 Hello,

Need help please!? The client don't trust the Linkus function because of security factor of letting the S100 on to the internet opening porthole for possible hackers.

How secure is Linkus? Now i have to use the Disa fuction of the PBX so the client can make international trunk calls from the GSM network.How do i make the Disa work on the S100? In inbound route setup you can only select number range for the incoming call to ring on the desired ext dialed from outside. (100 block DID BRI number range) The DID works fine! Also on the U series we could set the caller ID to show on the receiving end. How do we activate it on the S series?

  Before i forget on the U100 Disa works fine with DID!

  This function does not work!? :(  Do i miss something? Please the CID on outbound must show the number! Please help Oscar!!

  Do you mean the mobility extension doesn't work or the CID on outbound doesn't show the number?

  If it is mobility, please check if you setup the number correctly. The number must be the same as the one show on the CDR after you call the DID.

  If it is the CID on outbound, I think with the mobility extension, if you setup DOD for the extension, it should show the DOD when you phone out. Please try setup the DOD.

   

  If the mobility extension function doesn't work with DID range, please try test with only one DID and see if it works.

  Hello Oscar,

  Service provider removed the CLIP :( They enabled it now i can see numbers coming in!! The Mobile option works fine. Need to know if i can assign it only to one DID number or not? If i dial any author DID number the system sees my number and gives me the system dial tone, must it be like that or not?

  On the CID side of things i'm not coming right!?

  Smiley, the mobility extension feature seems works with all the DID numbers and couldn't work with only one DID. If you would like to work with only one DID, I would suggest you to setup the destination as DISA.

  You can setup another inbound route with DID specify and setup the destination as DISA then move that inbound route to the top of the inbound route list, I think with these configurations, this function will work with only one DID.

  Oscar with the Disa i made 2 DID (600-639) inbound routes 1st one pointing to the number range and the 2nd one (640-649) to the Disa and it works fine just want to let you know. Now its only the CID i'm struggling with! DOD does not make any difference.
