the function Mobility Extension is used to ring your mobile phone when you out of office. But if your mobile phone is not reachable, the call goes to the voicemail of the mobile phone, Is it possible to add a function so that the user of the mobile phone have to press a button before answering the call. So you prevent that every call is going to the voicemail
This sounds like a normal behavior.
If you call a mobile and the phone is nor reachable,mit will go to the voicemail of the mobile.
So please explain what is going wrong.
I need to do this too. On other phone systems, we can enable the "Press 1 to accept"
The use case is that a call is forwarded from the S-Series to a cell phone. If the call is not answered on a cell phone, we want other S-Series based routing to take place, like going to a S-Series VMail box or routing to another queue/ring group/extension.
The issue is that the call to the cell phone is "answered" when the cell phone voicemail picks up the call and so the S-Series doesn't differentiate between it being answered by a user or answered by cell phone voicemail.
By having the S-Series implement an IVR "Press 1 to accept" it forces the user to accept the call. If they do not because they don't want to or it went to cell phone voicemail, the S-Series can timeout and redirect elsewhere.
It does seem to be a common feature on most other vendor systems.
