I wuold like to have a CTI Client application to controll calls from a PC (Windows first), something like 3CX Phone Client or 3CX Phone Webclient.
There are many other competitors (not only 3CX) that have something similar.

I vote for this.
With MyPBX series, there is MyPBX Client available. I expect to have similar solution. Hope Yeastar product management team can consider this. Thanks!
XTELSIO is not an option... It' not usable like the old MyPBX client or 3CX Phone Client/Webclient.
Also this app must have the option to work as Softphone if needed.
We are also waiting for a client as the MyPBX client.
And also work as softphone.
We are also waiting for a CTI Client. Please with a Presence Management.
CTI Client is a must have application, it is the most requested feature and I ended implementing a different system that offer that feature. Please work on this.
Hi everyone here,
Sorry for late, but we do have the evaluation on client.
It would be great if you can help us with the following questions:
1. What kind of functions you want in the desktop-client?
2. Which functions are the most top priority functions?
1. Functions
2. Priority
Standard functions as mentioned by Inconel plus a couple really useful and priority for the client stand point:
Additional Functions:
screen with BLF (presense) / Speed Dial
Conference Call management as originator
Call recording management
PRIORITY:
Conference Call management
List of participants (number / CID)
Able to add remove participants
Conference on Hold allow comunication between participants(Yes/No)
Call Recording Management
Allow to Filter by: phone number, Date, Listened
Play Recordings
Delete (One, All, Filtered)
Download recording
Manager should be able to listen and manage recording from other extensions
PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED ON THIS, Thanks
@Inconel, I agree your opinion to functions on the desktop client, but I do have some more doubt. :)
Phonebook Integration: You mean the 3rd Party phonebooks? Can you give examples?
Chat: How would you use the chat function for? Like the internally communication for the employees in one company? Actually, in a small company with no more than 20 employees, face to face communication might be more convenience than chat.
@Virtual Solutions, thanks. Besides the ones Incontel came up with, conference call management is actually not that common, forgive me, from my stand of point, it is a nice to have function. (〃'▽'〃). Do you have many conference solutions?
For all:
Make a call: Do you prefer a CTI client which controls the calls while the calls are actually made by IP Phones, or a softphone client which is the SIP endpoint
@Ina
-> Chat. That feature is nice to have and very useful ine many scenaruios even in a 5 employee office. like:
= When you are in the phone with a client and you need to provide information that a coworker has you could text and reqest that information while you keep talking with the client.
= When you need to tell your co-worker some information about the client that iss in front of him but don't want to tell him loud to avoid making the client uncomfortable. like credit status, baunced check, or any other info.
> many more .......
-> Conference. I have more than 1 client complaining abou how the conference calls are managed because they dont know who is in the call and who is not. Business owners, project managers and others need constant communication with more than two people and need an easy way to manage those calls. This is the comment that my client told me last time:
" I need to be in the Phone with the contractor, plant manager, project manager, project coordinator and two other people that I need to call them and add to the conference call, but I am busy man and while I am calling them my employees get in my office asking questions several times or I have to attend a phone call then I don't remember how many I have called and who is already in the conference call, I cannot beleive this system don't have any better way to manage the conference calls" Didn;t include all the bad words ;)
-> Recordings : Some business must record clients calls and save them with clients information, companies like insurance, financial products and others, they need an easy way to go over the recordings and manage them, I have couple of insurance clients that stop using 3CX after they change the way they manage recordings,
This features and others not mentioned are important in a CTI Application otherwise it will be another simple softphone, we don't need that ... well that will be nice to have (〃'▽'〃).
Thanks for the attention you give to this request.
forgot about this one:
" Make a call: Do you prefer a CTI client which controls the calls while the calls are actually made by IP Phones, or a softphone client which is the SIP endpoint "
As mention before, there is already severeal softphones out there, the best option IMO is "a CTI client which controls the calls while the calls are actually made by IP Phones"
@Virtual Solutions, I gotta say you are amazing, highly appreciated 。◕◡◕。.
We've got the general idea that how this client should look like. Hope I can share with you ASAP. LOL.
And every one can still comment here so that I can check new information and new ideas as well.
We need a CTI app that can fully control a call made by an IP Phone, even if it is a DECT phone.
The app must have an option to switch from CTI mode to SoftPhone mode to use HeadPhone and mic connected to the PC.
Another usefull function is the connection to an external SQL database (like a CRM or an ERP) to view caller ID name, and the capacity to use a (or more than one) central company phonebook AND a private user phonebook
Gabriele,
Nice to see you again. (o゚▽゚)o
I think there might have difference understanding with "full control" function.
May I know the call control you mentioned will be used for what kind of scenario?
@ Ina . By Phonebook integration I mean, the Phonebook that is provided in the Auto Provisioning app.
If you add a contact or import a phonebook, it has to been shown in the phonebook off the telephone, but the contacts has to also shown in the CTI app.
In the old MyPBX client, you have to use 2 different files. 1 for the U100 and 1 for the client.
The same function as the "Broadsoft Common Phone List" . It is integrated in every Broadsoft app.
Hi Ina, I think the MUST HAVE function is that can be used for the extensions itself to control their own Calls..
the other function can be implemented as well, but are secondary
Remember.... we are talking about a CTI solution not another softphone with basic must have functions (Dial, Answer, Hold, Transfer, Calls History). The idea is to provide a solution where the user can make use of the good features of the system but are too complicated to be managed in a deskphone, as we have mentioned some:
System Phonebook
Chat
Conference Call management
Call recording Management
BLF Presence
Calls overview
Ina,
This are features that we have seen and used in other systems already, and considered useful. I assume Yeastar idea is to build something better than the competition right ;)
Hello
When is planed to have a CTI for the S-Series?
When it is planned?
This is the most request feature from our customers and the one that dirve them to competitors taht already have it (like 3CX, Wildix, Nethvoice, Kalliope and GrandStream IPPBX among others...).
We are waiting for that!
HI, Desktop Client is now under developing. The estimated time is end of Q2 or early Q3.
We are waiting for that. When ist the launch planed?
Desktop client is under developing. We scheduled 2 call modes. But may not come out at the same time.
I guess 1st one come out will be softphone mode. As for the time, as far as I know, it should be end of Q2 or early Q3.
Don't worry about other functions, we do have a plan for them, step by step.
@Virtual Solutions, sorry I missed this one.

Actually S-Series PBX has an application called call panel, it's web based function, and this one can have your conferences managed in one central interface. Maybe check if this one will help?
Any news on that? I ahve seen new LINKUS BETA, but it lack's CTI control of physical phones and it's not working on S Series PBX, so it's not an option...
I've created a standalone CTI application for Yeastar PBX (S series and MyPBX) systems that has most of the features you talk of so far. Including:
*BLF Status of extensions
*History
*Muti source contact management with integration into Outlook/CRMs.
*Click to Dial
*Call alerts (Search, Contact lookup, Ignore incoming call, Accept, etc)
*Custom Integration such as Yealink phone integration
*Total control of physical phone via PC

Am very open to development requests on our forum at http://www.tricom.nz
NEWS?
@ Gabriele Maoret, I have raised same limitations on the Linkus Beta version to the key guys of Yeastar, I hope they understand how important it is with the current market trends.
@ James Sumner, good to know you have a CTI for Yeastar box and Yealink phones, I will definitely check it out.
TricomVoIP Desktop has been updated following user feedback. The install routine has been improved. The UI has been updated and a mobile version that works with Yeastar's Linkus is being developed.

The next release will have conference features. updated CDR History, integrated chat and much more. The plan is to work along side with Linkus but we still believe there is a market for users who have a deskphone that want advance communication features without swapping to a softphone.
I am currently porting TricomVoIP to Android, IOS & Windows Phone. We have developed a CTI server and will include it in the Integrations.
TricomVoIP is a product of user feedback, the more feedback the better we can make the product.
My goal is to get TricomVoIP fully tuned based on user satisfaction and hopefully end up next to Xtelsio in the documentation.
If anyone needs help installing TricomVoIP, is having issue or have some ideas for features contact me at James@tricom.co.nz
More updates and bug fixes to TricomVoIP, please let me know of any feature requests
Soft phones are not always the best option. TricomVoIP is a Desk phone enhancement for users who have a desk phone but want soft phone features.
