How to speed dial numbers without pressing speed dial prefix *89

 

Applicable to: P series

Requirement background: PBX speed dial requires prefix *89 by default. But the customer does not want to enter this prefix every time.

Solution:

1. Create a loop trunk on PBX. 

 

2. Create an outbound route for the extensions to dial speed dial code, as shown below.

Add the speed dial prefix *89 tothe prepend. So when dial the speed dial code, PBX will carry the prefix automatically.

 

3. Create an inbound route to receive the loop call. As shown below.

 

If speed dial code corresponds to internal extensions, you can set like this.

 

If speed dial code corresponds to external numbers, you can set like this
